Teaching Artist and Educator
Since 2023, Tiana has been directing with Joyful Light Youth Theatre and teaching music and theatre with District 38 at their Homeschool Enrichment Program. She is currently looking for more teaching and directing contracts in the Greater Colorado Area.
Denver Christian School
In July of 202, Tiana started working as the Director of School Aged Child Care at Denver Christian School. In addition to running and coordinating after school programming, Tiana curated clubs for grades K-12 and administered over 25 summer camps.

Asolo Repertory Theatre
From June of 2019 to June 2021, Tiana served as the Education & Engagement Specialist at Asolo Rep. Here she got to work with awesome programs including Kaleidoscope, Illumination, and Asolo Rep Engage.
MFA in Theatre for Youth
In May of 2019, Tiana received her Masters of Fine Arts from Arizona State University. She is so blessed to have learned and grown with the fantastic people in this program!
Thesis Defense
In April 2019, Tiana defended and passed her thesis document. For her thesis she wrote a book covering how to use Drama Integration in the Homeschool Curriculum. She is pictured here with her committee, Michael Rohd, Mary MacAvory, and Kathy Kryzs.
Tim Webb and Oily Cart
In the Spring of 2019, Tiana participated in and helped to plan a week long masterclass with Tim Webb, the founder of Oily Cart Theatre in the UK. During the week, ASU students learned how to make theatre for people with profound and multiple disabilities. They devised and created a full length piece for students at Believe I Can Academy.
Tempe Arts in the Parks
In November 2018, Tiana and Danica Rosengren received a grant from the Tempe Government to produce their piece Between Two Worlds. Learn more under creative projects.
Between Two Worlds
In March 2019 Tiana worked with DogEar Theatre Productions as the co-creator and education director to produce an adaption of the Persephone myth. This show took place in Scudder Park and was commissioned by Tempe Public Art. Over 800 families attended our site specific immersive show.
AATE 2018
In August of 2018, Tiana Presented two workshops at the American Alliance of Theatre Educators. First, a session on historical TYA and modern theatre education. Second, a session on devising and adaptation techniques.
CAPE HOMESCHOOL CONFERENCE
In April of 2018, Tiana presented at the CAPE homeschool conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tiana presented practical ways to use theatre as an arts integration tool in home education.
Barn Arts Residency
Tiana and Danica received a residency and funding to develop a new play for young audiences in Bar Harbor, Maine. They brought artists from across the country to create an adaptation of the Persephone myth.
The Compass
In the fall of 2017, Tiana was the facilitation captain and Jury Foreman in The Compass. Working under Michael Rohd she led the facilitation team through this innovative audience participation style show.
ASU Preparatory Academy
In the Fall of 2017, Tiana started working as the Drama Specialist at the Phoenix and Tempe campuses of ASU Preparatory. She taught seventy 9th-12th grade students 4 days a week covering basic theatre skills, productions and more.
The Race
In November of 2016, Tiana devised and acted in the production The Race with Michael Rohd and Sojourn Theatre. This was an all day interactive performance on Election Day centered around leadership.
Arizona State University
In the fall of 2016, Tiana started her MFA in Theatre for Youth at Arizona State University. She is focused on education direction and graduated in May of 2019.
